Sandblasted Signs – Military Signs

We started making this type of sign for military squadrons at Naval Air Station Jacksonville in 1995 the old fashioned way.  Although, we’re not restricted any longer to those older methods there’s nothing quite like a true sandblasted finish sign.

Now with literally thousands of them under our belts for over 100 of squadrons around the globe we’ve mastered the process.  We’ve made these any size, shape, thickness and level of dimension imaginable.  For another reference for our artistic abilities take a look at our ‘Art’ section within the portfolios.  It’s no longer practice for us at this point – you can rely on us to provide a high quality product every time.

The media of choice above is high density urethane HDU which is an extremely durable material.  It is the most reliable and enduring material on the market of dimensional sign making,  environmental graphics, 3D displays and model making.  Weather carved, routed, sandblasted or machined, it is ideal wherever a uniform, grain-free, dimensionally stable material is desired.  This transforms the lost art of sign making into the next dimension of artistry and craftsmanship, satisfying aesthetic sensibilities as well as functional requirements.

It’s then painted using first a primer coat followed up with multiple layers or enamel paints sanding and finished to perfection.  Our enamel painting process is from the old school using only the best sign painters ‘One Shot’ paints.  These paints have been an industry standard for over 60 years.

Our last step is either a quality and well planned installation or crating and shipping.  We take every precaution possible to ensure your new sign is received at 100% and guarantee it.  If time is a factor – no problem – we meet tight deadlines and ship all over the world to any location.
